A minimalist hideaway immersed in the forest, yet just 6 minutes by car from the stunning Gulf of Baratti. This cozy house is simple but fully equipped: a real retreat for nature lovers. You’ll enjoy the outdoor table under the trees, with a view of the sea through the oaks of the Baratti nature reserve. The house includes: a kitchen with gas stove, oven, fridge, kettle and toaster (no microwave), two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, one with a double bed and single bed, the other with two single beds and a fireplace, two bathrooms indoors plus my favorite: the outdoor shower in the woods.
Nature and surroundings
Surrounded by over 2,000 trees, this home sits literally in the middle of the forest. The road to the house is a short but steep dirt path, with a few bumps – perfectly manageable by foot or car with care. At the bottom of the slope, there is a private parking space; from there, you walk 20 meters uphill through the trees to reach the house. The property is fully fenced, but being in a natural reserve, you may occasionally spot a fox or a forest creature passing by. If you love silence, woods, sea breeze and a touch of wild charm, this is your dream escape.
