Welcome, a simple but comfortable nature house on our organic farm. This wooden cabin is decorated with love and attention to give you a warm feeling of home in the middle of nature. Inside you will find two cozy bedrooms, suitable for up to four people. The living space is bright and cozy. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook for yourself. The bathroom is compact but complete, equipped with a comfortable ceramic compost toilet and a hot shower. Outside you have a private terrace with views of our orchard, grazing sheep and the surrounding hills. There is no television, but space to read, walk, draw and listen to the birds. The Orchard Cabin is ideal for those who appreciate simplicity, silence and nature. Please note that own transportation is necessary. The cottage is accessed via an unpaved country road, and is really remote. Those who feel like it will find peace and quiet here in abundance.
Nature and surroundings
The Orchard Cabin is located on an organic farm at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains, in a rugged and unspoiled landscape full of meadows, forests and hills. Right from the cottage you can walk into nature, with trails through forests, along streams and to mountain peaks with sweeping views. The area is rich in birds, insects and wild plants. In spring the fruit trees bloom, in summer it buzzes with life, autumn brings warm colors and in winter a mysterious mist often hangs over the mountains. Our farm is regeneratively managed, with room for biodiversity. The terrain is alive: with long grass, muddy paths, flowers and silence. The nights here are really dark - perfect for stargazing. Don't expect a tightly mowed yard, but a place where nature has space and you are allowed to slow down, still and connect.
