In our meadow in the Achterhoek countryside between Varsseveld and Westendorp we rent out a beautiful furnished bell tent. Do you like space, freedom and being outdoors with a touch of luxury? Then a stay in our tent will make you happy! We have only 1 camping spot so privacy is guaranteed. In the spacious tent there are 2 separate sleeping areas with a double bed. In the front part of the tent there is a sitting area with poufs and table around the wood stove; a lovely place on chillier evenings. There is also a dining table with chairs and stools. There may be room for a 5th or 6th person in the tent or in their own extra tent. Next to the tent is a separate small building with the private bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Our hot tub can be booked by arrangement and for a fee based on availability. Send us a message or inquire on the spot about the availability of the hot tub.
Nature and surroundings
There is plenty of space around the tent: there is a campfire area, beach chairs and a picnic table. The awning by the tent and the shade cloth provide plenty of shade in hot weather, you can cool off in the cast iron bathtub. With any luck, the neighbor's curious young cattle will come to take a look. On the other side of our yard is our bed & breakfast with 2 double rooms and a spacious living room. For friends or families who like to vacation together it is possible to book both the B&B and the tent. In the area there is plenty to do. The best way to discover the Achterhoek is by bicycle. The church paths where no motorized traffic is allowed are highly recommended. On the way you can make nice stops at museums, tea gardens, vineyards and beautiful villages, among others.

It was really enjoyable in this beautiful place. The tent was really fully equipped, and Renske also set up the outdoor pool and bbq for us, which we ended up not using. Hot tub also lovely. And the breakfast, especially the delicious jam! Super!
Het was echt genieten op deze prachtige plek. De tent was echt van alle gemakken voorzien, en Renske heeft ook nog het buitenbad en bbq voor ons klaargezet, waar we uiteindelijk geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Hottub ook heerlijk. En het ontbijt, vooral de heerlijke jam! Super!

We had three wonderful nights in the tent with our three children! It was fantastic. The tent with wood burning fireplace, outdoor kitchen, bbq, fire pit and plumbing: everything was done to perfection. The bathtub hilarious with the kids. Several times we used the delicious freshly baked bread and other local products (mostly homegrown) for the breakfast basket. The tent is highly recommended for anyone who wants to glamp without having to share facilities with others. The Achterhoek is a great region for families with children we found out. The tent is in the yard and overlooks large meadows with the highway behind it. That you hear a little bit but we have not experienced as disturbing. We will definitely come back.

We hebben meermaals gebruik gemaakt van het heerlijke vers gebakken brood en de andere lokale producten (meestal eigen productie) voor de ontbijtmand. De tent is een enorme aanrader voor iedereen die wil glamperen zonder faciliteiten te moeten delen met anderen. De achterhoek is een fantastische streek voor gezinnen met kinderen kwamen we achter. De tent staat op het erf en kijkt uit over grote weilanden met daarachter dan wel de snelweg. Die hoor je een klein beetje maar hebben we niet als storend ervaren. We komen vast terug.
