The casas are semi-detached houses, located at the highest point of the property. They can be rented together or separately. Like our other casa, the floor space is based on the ruins that are more than 100 years old. Parts of the old stone walls have been preserved and integrated into the design concept. From the outside, a modern building with large terraces all around, the interior breathes a touch of history. This combination, combined with cozy, modern furnishings, creates the special character of these two vacation homes. The entrances and terraces are aligned to ensure undisturbed privacy for each house. From the roof terraces you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the valley and the Algarve's diverse landscape, from orange groves to evergreen rice fields.
Nature and surroundings
The casas are less than 15 minutes by car from several beaches and the sea, Portimao is about 20 minutes by car. The tidal landscape at Portimao is worth a visit Walking can be done in several places, including the cliffs along the sea or beach and in the mountains at Monchique, and of course on site. Faro is on the A22 about 30 minutes. Since 2022 the fauna is increasing noticeably with the recent highlight of an owl in the old well. A beekeeper has his hives on our property, the honey is of good quality and for sale with us. Since summer 2024 we generously harvest our vegetable beds, these unsprayed seasonal delicacies are also for sale at cost price. The saltwater swimming pool, with a panoramic view of the Monchique mountain range is freely accessible. In the pool pavilion you can play darts, chess and snooker or sit in an armchair and enjoy the view. There are several golf courses in the immediate vicinity.
