A beautiful place on the water! A modern stylishly decorated comfortable houseboat for 2 pers. on Paterswoldsemeer with lots of light & sense of space. In the middle of nature, in a quiet location, sitting on your own lounge deck from where you can enjoy this spectacular view all year round, you get the feeling of pure freedom. The use of different natural materials and colors creates a peaceful atmosphere. There is also a private garden that you can use. The space The modern newly built houseboat (2022) is equipped with underfloor heating and consists of a living-dining room with an open kitchen (fridge with freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso & kettle), a separate bedroom, with a convenient and raised box-spring bed (160x200cm) and you can get in and out of the bed comfortably to the left and right! The bathroom may not be that big, but it is very thoughtfully furnished with shower, toilet and sink (incl. hairdryer & towel warmer).
Nature and surroundings
The Paterswoldsemeer in Groningen an excellent choice to unwind in your free days. This lake is the place to be for boaters, swimmers and sunbathers. Around the lake are several restaurants that conjure up the most delicious dishes for you every day. Besides the water sports possibilities, the area is known for its beautiful cycling and walking routes. So bring your own bike or rent one to explore these beautiful routes such as the Onlanden, towards Zuidlaren, etc. The Pieterpad runs almost along the houseboat. There are also several beaches around the lake. For more entertainment go to the vibrant city of Groningen (or Assen) with beautiful museums, pleasant shopping streets, many restaurants and terraces. You can reach the city in just over 20 minutes by bike or within 15 minutes by car or bus.
