Nature house in Gellik

A really nice nature house, with a super cute interior and fully equipped. Absolutely perfect for 2 people! The bedroom with bunk beds (3 of them) seemed a bit cramped to us, but we didn’t need to use it. On the second-to-last day, we had a power outage, likely due to the extreme heat. It lasted a few hours, but fortunately it was resolved eventually, and we had a pleasant conversation with the landlord about it!

Erg leuk natuurhuisje, met een superleuke inrichting en van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor 2 personen echt top! De slaapkamer met stapelbedden (3 stuks) kwam op ons wel wat krap over, maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van hoeven maken. Op de ena laatste dag viel bij ons de stroom uit, waarschijnlijk door de extreme hitte. Dit heeft een aantal uur geduurd maar was gelukkig uiteindelijk weer opgelost en daarover ook prettig contact gehad met de verhuurder!

A fantastic location right in the middle of the forest, yet just a short distance from a major city like Maastricht

Fantastische locatie midden in het bos, maar ook op zeer korte afstand tot een grote stad zoals Maastricht

One downside was that the sauna wasn’t available. A week before our arrival, we received a message saying the sauna was out of service and asking if this was a problem. We replied that this was indeed an important factor for us and asked if some kind of compensation was possible. We didn’t receive a response to this... For example, a later checkout could have been an option.

Wat minder was is het feit dat de sauna niet beschikbaar was. Een week voor aankomst kregen we bericht dat de sauna buiten dienst was en of dit erg was. Wij stuurden terug dat dit wel een belangrijke criteria was voor ons en of er soort compensatie kon zijn. Hier hebben we geen antwoord op gekregen... Zo had een bv een latere checkout wel al een optie kunnen zijn

The cottage is cozily furnished and is situated in a quiet location within a vacation park. It also features a cozy and comfortable patio.

There are a few areas for improvement, though:
- The kitchenware is limited, and you have to bend down for everything since there are no tall cabinets
- The showerhead is defective, causing it to make a squeaking noise all the time
- In the middle of the living room, there was clearly an ant nest in the ceiling
- The hot tub could have been warmer

Het huisje is gezellig ingericht en ligt rustig gelegen in een vakantiepark. Daarnaast is er een gezellig en comfortabel terras.

Er zijn wel een paar werkpunten:
- Het keukengerief is beperkter en voor alles moet je u ook bukken aangezien er geen hoge kasten zijn
- Douchekop is defect waardoor deze de hele tijd een piepend geluid maakt
- In midden van de living was er een duidelijk een mieren nest in het plafond
- Hottob mocht warmer

The chalet is cozy and equipped with air conditioning. The sofa is comfortable. Only downside was that there was no dishwasher.

Het chalet is gezellig ingericht en voorzien van een airco. De bank zit lekker. Enige minpunt was dat er geen vaatwasser was.

Had good stay in the green area with fully fenced garden. Nice that it is directly adjacent to a hiking area and close to nice towns.

Goed verblijf gehad in de groene omgeving met volledig omheinde tuin. Fijn dat het direct aan een wandelgebied grenst en dichtbij leuke steden ligt.
