This beautiful old stable stands on a large land area including orchard, vegetable and herb garden. There is a wood stove in the stable that provides cozy warmth. The stable is despite simple equipped with everything needed to get by for a multitude of days (music system, board games, books, etc.) The nature house is a romantic space with lovely double bed. The kitchen equipped with fridge, stove, oven and pots and pans. Also present is a private shower and toilet.
Nature and surroundings
Should you get bored of the garden, Sauwerd is in the middle of cultural and natural history hotspots such as the Lauwersmeer area, the fine Groningen town, the Wadden and the "Grunnegerlaand" sung by Ede Staal. It is a fantastic place to retreat from the daily grind.
