We had an amazing experience at the house in Merana and would 100% recommend it :) The apartment is beautifully designed, with such great attention to detail. We used the garden as our living room, and the outdoor kitchen was a lovely addition. We used the small pool every day to cool off after a hike or day trip. Most of the day, we just wanted to stay at the apartment as much as possible because it was simply so beautiful. It’s a bit remote, so we had to drive quite a bit to get to a nice hiking area, the beach, or a larger town. But we knew this going in and preferred the quietness of the apartment, so it didn’t bother us at all. My boyfriend went cycling quite a bit. Matteo and Giulia (perfect hosts) invited us to help move the goats one day, which we loved. The goats, the herding dogs, and other animals really made our experience special. One of the cats became our little companion for a week—always up for a cuddle and a chat. If you’re still on the fence, don’t hesitate any longer—just book this amazing place :)
