Our nature house is a bright, warm place under the roof of our farm, with its own entrance, front garden and terrace with wide views over the meadows. Inside you will find everything for a comfortable and simple stay: a compact kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, coffee filter and kettle, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a double bed in the cozy loft (via miller's staircase). The 18 m² room has floor heating and is suitable for two people (and possibly a child from 6 years old). Wifi and parking are available; pets are not. In our yard, we work on a small scale for a connected, sustainable life. In our store cupboard, when available, you'll find homemade jams, syrup, kombucha and candles made from recycled candle wax. If you book the fire bowl package, you get everything you need for an atmospheric evening outside, including our own elderflower cordial and popcorn puff set.
Nature and surroundings
Our yard is located on a quiet road just outside Vorden, in the middle of the beautiful Achterhoek landscape of meadows, hedgerows and sandy paths. From the cottage you can walk straight into the countryside, with a chance of meeting deer, pheasants or buzzards. In the vicinity you can enjoy cycling and walking, including towards the castles of Vorden or Hackfort estate. In our yard there is room for small-scale initiatives: a picking garden, a candle maker, and a roof where you can make your own coffee and tea. In a cupboard you will find homemade products, all made with attention to what the season and the environment offer. Public transportation is limited; the neighborhood bus stops at Hackfort. By car or bicycle, Vorden, Zutphen and Lochem are easily accessible. A nice place for rest, simplicity and new energy.

A very nice cozy cottage, furnished with care and has everything you need for a short stay. Also very happy with the delicious yogi tea that was waiting for me! Definitely recommended :)

Nature, peace & environment:I stayed in this fine cottage during my course weekend. So I didn't see much of nature but in terms of peace and quiet it was a relief to arrive at this cottage and be allowed to stay.
