Perfect base for hiking or biking. Larger windows, to keep more contact with the surroundings, would have raised the score to 10.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om te wandelen of te fietsen. Grotere ramen, om meer contact te houden met de omgeving, hadden de score op 10 gebracht.

This is a spacious and well appointed apartment with a fully equipped, uncluttered kitchen. Everything looks new. There is plenty of kitchen equipment for 2 people so we only ran the dishwasher once. For a group or family of 6 it may be a little too limited. The windows offer a beautiful view of the valley, but you can only enjoy it standing up. You cannot see outside from the bed or in the sofa. On the other hand, the terrace downstairs is available with a fire pit and garden chairs. In warmer weather we would definitely have had breakfast there and enjoyed the view.There are no big jobs nearby, so peace and quiet is guaranteed at all times and nature is up for grabs.The village offers a few stores, including an alternative bakery with delicious pastries and bread. The essentials can be found at the grocery store. Supermarkets are a little further away.

Dit is een ruim en goed ingericht appartement met een volledig uitgeruste, overzichtelijke keuken. Alles ziet er nieuw uit. Voor 2 personen is er ruim voldoende voldoende keukenmateriaal zodat we de vaatwasser slechts 1 keer hebben laten draaien. Voor een groep of gezin van 6 is het mogelijk iets te beperkt.
De ramen bieden een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei, maar daar kan je alleen rechtstaand van genieten. Vanuit bed of in de zetel kan je niet buiten kijken. Daartegenover staat wel dat het terras beneden beschikbaar is met vuurschaal en tuinzetels. Bij warmer weer hadden we zeker daar ontbeten en genoten van het uitzicht.
In de buurt zijn geen grote banen, dus de rust is ten allen tijde gegarandeerd en de natuur ligt voor het grijpen.
Het dorp biedt enkele winkels, waaronder een alternatief bakkertje met heerlijk gebak en brood. De essentiels vind je terug bij de kruidenier. Supermarkten liggen iets verder.

Attractively decorated, welcoming, lots of light, lots of space, good quality appliances, lovely sofas, good WiFi, super clean, clear waste separation, everything has been thought of (e.g. coffee filters, dishwasher tablets, spices, oil). Outside in the garden you can sit with a wonderful view; being on a hill, you can see for miles over the woods. Fantastic!

Sfeervol ingericht, gastvrij, veel licht, veel ruimte, goede kwaliteit apparatuur, heerlijke banken, goede WiFi, superschoon, duidelijke afvalscheiding, er is aan alles gedacht (b.v. koffiefilters, vaatwastabletten, kruiden, olie). Buiten in de tuin kun je heerlijk zitten met een prachtig uitzicht; omdat je op een heuvel zit, kun je kilometers ver kijken over de bossen. Fantastisch!

Lots of space, few houses. Less suitable for swimming. The lakes of Eau d'Heure (half hour drive) are disappointing: because in many places you may not swim, it is in the one place where it is allowed enormous pressure. You can here beautiful supping, windsurfing, sailing.

Veel ruimte, weinig huizen. Minder geschikt om te zwemmen. De meren van Eau d'Heure (half uurtje rijden) vallen tegen: omdat je op veel plekken niet mag zwemmen, is het op die ene plek waar het wél mag enorm druk. Je kunt hier wél prachtig suppen, windsurfen, zeilen.

The hosts are lovely, the apartment is great and had all of the most important amenities needed. We'll come back for sure - but for a much longer stay next time!
