This is a spacious apartment on the top floor of a beautiful country house in the Ardennes. We (Ivana and Daan) have dreamed for years of a quiet place in nature where people can feel at home. During your stay we live on the first floor, which is Joli (beautiful) Doma (home), where you can unwind from everyday life in connection with nature. You come here for your rest and the contact with nature. Nearby you can make fantastic walks, bike tours, visit small villages. We live on the outskirts of a village where you have all the basic amenities. We maintain our garden completely organic and we apply permaculture principles where possible. In our house live a dog and cat, they obviously do not visit the apartment.
Nature and surroundings
We live 5 minutes' walk from the forest. There are no big cities in the area; only small villages and large areas of forest. There are hiking trails through nature in almost every village in the area. The landscape here is hilly up to 200meter (so quite a climb at times), crisscrossed with small rivers.
