Nature house in Donkerbroek

Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The mobile home is cozy and fully equipped with all the amenities you need. The owners, Linda and Bart, are incredibly friendly and helpful people who really made my special two-week stay there complete.

Een absolute aanrader voor wie tot rust wil komen en wil genieten van de natuur. De pipowagen is knus ingericht en is van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren, Linda en Bart, zijn super leuke en behulpzame mensen en maakten mijn bijzondere ervaring van twee weken daar helemaal af.

The mobile home is located at the very back of the property, giving you a truly private spot all to yourself. Nicely tucked away among the trees, you have a view of the meadows and hedgerows. At dusk, I spotted a roe deer in the distance almost every day, and near the mobile home you’re surrounded by many different kinds of birds.
The surrounding area offers plenty of options for walks and bike rides, both right from the property and just a short drive away. The Drents-Friese Wold is less than a ten-minute drive away and is definitely worth a visit.

De pipowagen staat helemaal achter op het erf, waardoor je echt een plekje voor jezelf hebt. Fijn verscholen tussen de bomen kijk je uit op de weilanden en houtwallen. In de schemer spotte ik vrijwel dagelijks een ree in de verte en bij de wagen word je omringd door vele soorten vogels.
De omgeving biedt genoeg opties voor wandelingen en fietstochten. Zowel direct vanaf het erf als met een stukje rijden met de auto. Het Drents-Friese Wold zit op nog geen tien minuten rijden afstand en is ook zeker de moeite waard.

The mobile home is simple but comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Our dog had somehow found his way into the adjacent field, so unfortunately he couldn’t run around completely off-leash, but we solved that with a long leash. Linda gave us a warm welcome!

De pipowagen is basic maar comfortabel, en het bed sliep heerlijk. Onze hond had toch een weg naar het naastgelegen veld gevonden dus hij kon helaas niet helemaal vrij loslopen, maar met een lange lijn was dat opgelost. Wij werden goed ontvangen door Linda!

A wonderful place to completely unwind. You’re truly all alone at the very back of the property, with just the birds and the horses.

Heerlijke plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen. Je zit echt alleen helemaal achteraan het erf, alleen met de vogels en de paarden.

I left after two nights because the stay was not sustainable for my dog and for me. In addition, despite prior promises that the sanitary car would be heated, it turned out that it was not heated. In the shower room it was about 0 degrees, similar to the outside temperature. Showering under these conditions was not comfortable or responsible for me. Landlord's response: We also experienced more noise from fireworks, which was the same nationwide. Wind and wind direction are also determining factors. The only thing we can do, and do every year, is to tell guests in advance what the previous years were like with fireworks during New Year's Eve.

Ik ben na twee nachten vertrokken omdat het verblijf voor mijn hond en voor mij niet langer vol te houden was.
Daarnaast bleek de sanitaire wagen, ondanks voorafgaande toezegging dat deze verwarmd zou zijn, niet verwarmd. In de doucheruimte was het circa 0 graden, vergelijkbaar met de buitentemperatuur. Douchen onder deze omstandigheden was voor mij niet comfortabel of verantwoord.

Reactie van verhuurder:
Wij hebben ook meer geluid van vuurwerk ervaren, dat was landelijk ook zo. Wind en windrichting zijn ook bepalend. Het enige wat wij kunnen doen en ook elk jaar doen, is op voorhand aan gasten aangeven hoe het de voorgaande jaren was met vuurwerk tijdens jaarwisselingen.

A lot of fireworks were set off in the immediate area, which was clearly audible in the mobile homes.

In de directe omgeving werd veel vuurwerk afgestoken, dat duidelijk hoorbaar was in de pipowagen.
