A home in nature - with just that little bit more. Welcome, an enchanting place in the heart of a lush, nature-rich polder between Vrouwenpolder and the historic town of Veere. The Brummelhof is surrounded by the peace and beauty of a Natura 2000 area. We, Christopher and Suzanne, are the proud hosts of this unique vacation home and are happy to share our little paradise with you.Located on Lake Veere, surrounded by dikes, animals and silence, you will find a place where luxury and simplicity come together.The Brummelhof is a completely newly built guest house for two. Light, spacious and stylishly decorated - overlooking nature and with the Veerse Meer behind the dike, literally a stone's throw away. With the old sea dike facing north, it is soon wonderful to sit outside, with no neighbors in sight. Only nature and the occasional cat basking in the sunshine will keep you company. Overlooking the dike, farmlands and nature.
Nature and surroundings
Literally a stone's throw away - there is only a dike in between - from Het Brummelhof lies the beautiful Veerse Meer, a true paradise for those who love nature, tranquility or just action. This large saltwater lake originated from a former estuary and is now completely closed off from the North Sea. What makes it special is the combination of quiet bays, islands of nature and crystal clear water.What you can do on Lake Veere? Swimming, supping, sailing, picnicking on one of the islands, bird watching or simply enjoying the sunset on the shore. For water sports enthusiasts, there are plenty of options; Rent a sailboat for a romantic trip across the lake. Do you like more action? Then go jet skiing or flyboarding. Furthermore, you can enjoy hiking in the immediate vicinity. Vrouwenpolder is only a 10-minute walk, Veere a 10-minute bike ride and Middelburg a 10-minute car ride away. Everything within reach and yet located in an oasis of calm!
