Welcome to an attractive vacation home for 6 to 7 people located on a beautiful private estate in the Dordogne. Here you will enjoy peace, nature and comfort, away from the crowds with lots of privacy. The vacation home is an independent, rustic family home with private pool and several private terraces. In the garden there are beautiful old trees such as cherries and walnuts, which offer natural cooling. In the private lake you can fish for carp. What we offer: - Private swimming pool (5x8meter) - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - cozy living room - fully equipped kitchen - terraces around the house - private parking with carport, offers protection against sun and hail Further we offer in consultation: - possibility to charge your electric car - there is a camping spot for rent at the lake with its own toilet, shower, sink and refrigerator - in consultation, pets are welcome
Nature and surroundings
The estate includes 17 hectares of forest and meadow and lake with its own spring and stream.There are no neighbors in sight, naturism is possible.It is a rural and quiet environment, therefore amplified music is not allowed outside.Open fire or BBQ with fire are not allowed due to fire hazard, there is an electric bbq available.The hills in the area are great for cycling. Picturesque villages and castles all around like Ségur-le-Chateau, Hautfort and Pompadour. In the summer there are village festivals, flea markets, classic cars and other festivities everywhere. About 8 km away is a beautiful large recreational lake with many activities: Lac de Rouffiac.Furthermore you can visit caves and castles, canoeing, hiking.Shopping is easy at the Intermarché in Glandon at 7 minutes.There are boulangeries in both Glandon (5km) and Payzac (7km)
