The few vehicles that drive past the house sometimes pass by quite quickly, but that's just typical of France. Unfortunately, it wasn't completely free of fireworks in the area on New Year's Eve. But it was bearable for our dog because it wasn't in the immediate vicinity. You certainly need the car for excursions, but there was plenty to see within a radius of about 30 minutes. The bed was very comfortable. And the thick blanket would be great for the cold season. The stairs to the bedroom are a bit steep, but doable. The garden is also okay.
