Nature house in Appelscha

During your stay in this spacious, peaceful accommodation, you’ll forget all your worries. In the Drents-Friese Wold, you can enjoy wonderful walks, bike rides, and the beauty of nature. The bungalow is spacious, child- and dog-friendly, so everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet that nature offers. It’s also fully equipped with air conditioning, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a very spacious shower. For guests with sensitive skin, there’s a water softener installed. The entire home is also equipped with window screens, keeping it insect-free. In addition, all the essentials are provided: coffee, tea, milk, sugar, sweeteners, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and much more. The bungalow is located on the outskirts of the village, so all amenities are within walking distance. And because it’s on the edge of the forest, it’s very peaceful—so you can start enjoying your stay right away.

The bungalow is located next to the Drents-Friese Wold. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong and get up alongside the squirrels in the green oasis bordering the backyard. From here, you can walk or bike right into nature. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails, but there’s also plenty to do for the active types: mountain bike trails, canoeing, and more. The bungalow is located on the tourist side of the village. There are plenty of markets, restaurants, and events to enjoy. We also have the Peat Boating Days and a historical walking tour through the village. There’s plenty for kids to do, too: are you brave enough to climb the observation tower? Or try the climbing course in the forest? And if not, there’s also mini-golf, the DuineZathe amusement park, or the Bosbad just around the corner. Plenty to do for young and old alike!
