Less than 10 km from Durbuy, in a secluded pine grove, you will find this contemporary wooden chalet. The smell of the Ardennes and the looks of an elegant Swedish cabana. So a cool head and a warm heart. The nature house is equipped with no fewer than three covered terraces, so that you can also enjoy the shade in winter, and also has a large wood stove, a sauna and a jacuzzi. The latter was beautifully covered and is blessed with a view of the garden and the Scandinavian terrace. Everything you need for a successful Ardennes weekend. Inside, lots of fragrant wood, beautifully painted in white, and sturdy, robust furniture. Sturdy rattan chairs, leather Chesterfields and lots of sturdy Ardennes accessories that make you want to go out. Or the better outdoors in the Ardennes, we ❤ all that lovely wood.
Nature and surroundings
In the area surrounding the nature house, located between Hotton and Durbuy, there is an abundance of activities and attractions for nature lovers, families and culture enthusiasts. Here are some recommendations: -Kayaking on the Ourthe: At Domaine de Palogne you can take an 8 km kayaking trip on the Ourthe, including transportation to the starting point. - Sunday market "La Petite Batte": Every Sunday, the village center turns into a lively market with more than 200 stalls. - "Flammes" torchlight walk: An atmospheric evening walk with theater and lights in the park at the foot of Bomal castle, annually in August. -Adventure Valley Durbuy: An adventure park with activities such as climbing, ziplining and an extensive playground for children. -Historic Center of Durbuy: Explore the narrow cobblestone streets, 17th- and 18th-century houses, cozy cafes and stores in the world's smallest town.
