Enjoy days of peace and quiet in our small, cosy cellar cottage on the edge of the forest. Surrounded by fragrant trees, birdsong and the gentle sound of the forest, you will find a place to slow down. A retreat for anyone who wants to switch off, take a deep breath and recharge their batteries. The cottage is simple but lovingly furnished: a single large room combines a kitchen, bed and a comfortable seating area with a small fireplace - perfect for cosy evenings by candlelight or a good book. On the terrace in front of the house, you can enjoy your coffee with a view of the greenery, watch the animals or simply relax. Despite the seclusion, you don't have to sacrifice comfort: the house has its own electricity connection and an electric stove for cooking. Service water is available in a large barrel and there is a separate outhouse with a dry toilet right next to the house.
Nature and surroundings
There are lots of woods and meadows in the immediate vicinity - ideal for walks, short hikes or simply relaxing in a hammock. The cottage is quietly located on the edge of a small village and yet is well connected: It is accessible by car as well as by bus or bicycle. The nearest bus stop is within easy walking distance, and the nearest supermarket can be reached quickly by bike or car. In the village itself, two cosy inns offer regional cuisine and a cool drink - perfect for a short break. A real highlight is the old beer cellar directly below the cottage, which gives this special place its name. It leads some 70 meters deep into the mountain and its cool, quiet atmosphere makes for a very special, almost mystical experience.

With a shower it would be 20, but that was clear beforehand and you can't have everything. Really a fine Nature house. I can't say anything about the possible activities because we didn't want anything other than just being in nature and the cottage.

Zu den möglichen Aktivitäten kann ich nichts sagen, weil wir nichts anderes wollten, als einfach in der Natur und dem Häuschen zu sein.We liked the cottage very much. Very nicely and neatly furnished, bright, very clean. Nice to be able to turn on the fireplace, good that some of the windows have fly screens to keep the windows open at night. Even the composting toilet is really nice to look at, totally clean and only smells of the wood from the sawdust to sprinkle over it. The location is also nice and quiet. Although the cottage is only 100 m away from the village as the crow flies, we didn't see anyone there in the three days apart from a hunter in Montour. And we enjoyed enjoying the beautiful weather outside on the terrace and in the forest at the same time. We would love to come back again.
Uns hat das Häuschen sehr gut gefallen. Sehr schön und gepflegt eingerichtet, hell, sehr sauber. Schön, den Kamin anmachen zu können, gut dass einige der Fenster Fliegengitter haben, um Nachts die Fenster offen halten zu können. Selbst die Komposttoilette ist handwerklich richtig schön anzusehen, total sauber und duftet nur nach dem Holz des Sägemehls zum Drüberstreuen.
Auch die Lage ist schön ruhig. Obwohl das Häuschen Luftlinie nur 100 m vom Ort entfernt ist, haben wir außer einem Jäger in Montour in den drei Tagen dort keinen Menschen gesehen.
Und wir haben es genossen, das schöne Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse und dort aber zugleich im Wald zu genießen.
