NEW. This Nature House is part of a courtyard, with a total of four houses. You go from the road through a gate and left and right around the courtyard you will find a vacation home. De Goudvink is 95m2 and stands in the middle of the polders, close to the sea and the Erasmusbos. It is spacious, cozy and bright. Superb views of the garden. Relax on the private terrace. Peace and space around you. In winter there is a cozy pellet stove to keep you warm. Wonderful options for walking or cycling. The cottage is located among the countryside, with unobstructed views of the garden and orchard. People stay with us because of the peace, the sea and all other possibilities. Enjoying the beach, or walking in the woods or along the polders, it is all possible. This is an inclusive cottage, which means suitable for people who are wheelchair bound. It has a spacious bathroom, an adapted toilet, extra wide doors and no thresholds.
Nature and surroundings
Close to the Natura 2000 area the Zwarte Polder. Around the corner is the Erasmusbos. We like to see you here is the slogan of West Zeeland Flanders. And it is. Lots of nature, the Zwin region park, the beach itself, the dunes, it's all there. Endless walking and cycling opportunities and enjoy nature. There are two bikes available and more to rent, and there is more. So you can take a game picking walk, canoeing, or go along on a fishing boat, seal spotting from Breskens. If it's a rainy day, there's the town of Sluis, or just across the border, Bruges to visit. Almost every village or town has a museum, with plenty of art and culture. And this region is known for its many and varied restaurants. A day across the river by bicycle ferry to Middelburg or Vlissingen is also a popular outing.
