On the edge of a forest and a 10-minute walk from a natural lake where you can swim (without other people) is this small chalet with all the trimmings. This place is ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. On the terrace of the cottage of 25 m2 you have a jacuzzi where you can relax especially in the evening and a large outdoor lounge in the shade. From the hammocks you overlook the lake. There is a pool of 28 m2 on the land, where you can cool off when it's hot. We have lived locally for 25 years and can recommend beautiful places in the area.
Nature and surroundings
The area is hilly but directly from our little country you can take walks that are wonderfully relaxing. The natural lake gives the opportunity for picnics by the water and fishing, there are also some places within walking distance on a small river and a very nice little valley. The Tarn is a very beautiful region, where there is no mass touring. There are still many rugged places like the river Viaur and the Tarn. Our place is also close to the Aveyron which is also very beautiful. There are some very nice villages at about 20 to 30mn drive like Cordes sur Ciel, Sauveterre de Rouergue, Monesties and Saint Antonin which is a bit further, with nice markets (also at night). Albi is a great town with its remarkable Cathédral and Gaillac is a renowned wine region.
