Welcome to L'Oeil du Condroz! A large garden and orchard await you. Built from Condroz stone, clay and wood, the house has a large outdoor terrace that will delight nature & heritage lovers. The house is located in the heart of the Hoyoux valley, with the river and forest just two minutes away. Whether you're on your own, with family or friends, we'll do everything we can to make your stay a success. The interior of the house is open to the south, and fitted out with 100% ecological materials. The house has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with bidet and walk-in shower. There is a children's playground on site. To avoid magnetic waves, the house has no WiFi or TV. A library and board games are available.
Nature and surroundings
Within a 2-minute walk, you'll have access to: river, springs, forests, ravel (line 126), GR, Condruz hills & plateaus. You'll also be close to the Barvaux Labyrinth and Durbuy Adventure Valley. The Domaine des Grottes de Han-sur-Lesse, the Domaine de Chevetogne and the beautiful town of Dinant are also just 35 minutes away. We created this place to showcase the beauty of our region: the Condroz. Appreciating nature, heritage and the world of the arts in general, this venue is part of a more global project linking serenity, well-being and music. We regularly organize events throughout the year, including the famous Guitares du Monde Festival. Anna July 20, 2025 General rating:Nice cottage, pleasant spaces, definitely big enough for 2. The natural materials are cozy. The sink in the bathroom is very small, and the blind on the bed is not big enough for the window, it lets the light through in the morning. No further comments, good shower, the kitchen is also okay, in winter the stove is definitely a plus, we did not need it now :-). The bikes that we could use for a fee were not in very good condition, we had to inflate the tires ourselves, there were cobwebs hanging on the bikes, they are small for adults, and the brakes were not so well adjusted either. We also didn't get a lock so we couldn't park them anywhere e.g. to go into a store...
Mooi huisje, aangename ruimtes, zeker groot genoeg voor 2. De natuurlijke materialen zijn gezellig. De lavabo in de badkamer is wel héél klein, en het rolgordijn aan het bed niet groot genoeg voor het raam, het laat 's ochtends licht door. Verder geen opmerkingen, goeie douche, de keuken is ook oké, in de winter is de kachel zeker een pluspunt, die hadden we niet nodig nu :-). De fietsen die we tegen betaling konden gebruiken waren niet in heel goeie staat, de banden hebben we zelf moeten oppompen, er hingen spinnenwebben aan de fietsen, ze zijn klein voor volwassenen, en de remmen waren ook niet zo goed afgesteld. We kregen ook geen slot dus konden ze nergens stallen om bv een winkel binnen te gaan...
