The guesthouse the Jachtopzienerskamer is in an authentic estate barn which was built in 1905. This estate barn is the former outbuilding of the Wolversveen station of the steam railroad line Zelhem-Ruurlo. Later the estate barn was in use by the estate Het Zand. The Jachtopzienerskamer used to be the working room of the former gamekeeper and forester. The Jachtopzienerskamer has floor heating and a comfortable gas stove. Area of the room 11 square meters. In the accommodation are provided crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster and microwave. Coffee and tea are also provided. There is free wifi.In the hallway are an oven, electric hobs with pans and a refrigerator with freezer.The sanitary facilities are shared with the nature camp.
Nature and surroundings
The estate barn is part of the family estates of estate Het Zand which cover a total of 300 ha. The specific part of this Het Zand estate is called Landgoed Het Zand Hattemer Oldenburger. The family estates are open according to the Nature Conservation Act and are situated in the typical Achterhoek scenic landscape with forests, fields and meadows. Many estates there are still privately owned. There are also many castles and country houses. You can enjoy walking and cycling, and you can also visit the various Hanseatic cities or the smallest town in the Netherlands Bronkhorst. The More museum in Ruurlo is also worth a visit. One km away is a good restaurant Heeren van Wolversveen and two km away a nice eatery the Veldhoek. In the village of Zelhem five km away are also several restaurants including Smoks. You can also have meals delivered to the room by la Roma in Zelhem,
