Agriturismo Il Cerrone offers relaxing and comfortable stays in a spatious stone-built apartment in Gubbio's beautiful countryside. The building has been restored in keeping with the local rural tradition. It has two elegant and cosy bedrooms, plus a sofa bed in the living room, one bathroom and a fully accessorized kitchen. We are currently renovating our garden, keeping biodiversity, ecosistemic functions and habitat building as our priority, so you are welcome to enjoy our big, wild-ish yard. We are also planting a vegetable garden for our guests. Pets are welcome.
Nature and surroundings
Our Agriturismo is the ideal base-camp for nature enjoyers and trekking enthusiasts, as our peaceful countryside offers many stroll opportunities in the immediate surroundings, through traditional agricultural landscapes and oak woods, where you can admire wild animals and native plants. Many trekking experiences and natural parks are available in the area, such as Monte Cucco, with its caves, orchids and speleological tours, Monte Nerone, which holds an impressive geological history, and Monte Catria. We also recommend visiting Monte Ingino, in Gubbio, and taking the panoramic cable car to the top. The medieval downtown of Gubbio, full of history, art and folklore, is just 13 km away (15 min by car). The village of Montone, 22 km from our structure (20 min by car), is another must-see if you are visiting the north of Umbria. Perugia, Spello and Assisi are within an hour by car.
