This nature house with wood-fired sauna is set high up on the slope in the Meuse Valley and has stunning views of the fairy-tale houses of this Belle Epoque village. Wake up quietly among birds and squirrels, have a cup of coffee on the large terrace and plan your day with a choice of many hiking options, water sports or a trip to one of the famous abbeys nearby. Light up the smoker BBQ for a cozy evening outside or warm up by the stove during colder days, heating the chalet with the wood stove. A basket of wood with kindling and logs is included. Additional heating with the electric radiators is partially included in the rental price, additional consumption is deducted from the deposit. The cottage is 66m2 and consists of a spacious living room with dining area, a large and small bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and entrance hall/utility room. The cottage is located in Waulsort, a quiet village on the river Meuse. Directly from the cottage are several beautiful walks to make, you can practice water sports near Dinant, you climb the rocks at Freyr or you visit one of the many attractions in the vicinity such as the Abbey of Maredsous, the Citadel of Dinant, several castles, etc. The cottage is located in the middle of a sloping garden of 2000m2 which is partially fenced and where forest animals also pass. Geweldig huisje in schitterende omgeving
Nature, peace & environment:Fantastic place. As if we were in n tree house. in the morning the mist / clouds below us in the valley and in the evening a sun on the terrace. Located in unique area suitable for hikers, cyclists, climbers, water sports etc. Friendly host who is easily accessible and cozy home. Totally complete with outdoor kitchen and even a cheese slicer.
