Nature house in Burgh-Haamstede

Welcome to our nature house in Burgh-Haamstede! Dear guests, We are Petra and Tom, and we would like to welcome you to our brand new cottage. Here, at one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, you are surrounded by beautiful beach, forest and dunes. Our cottage is just 1 minute walk from the cozy village center with stores, cafes and restaurants, and at the same distance from the forest. By bike you can reach 17 km of beach with cozy beach bars in 10 minutes. Private parking for car and bikes and contactless check-in is possible with a key box. Inside there is a hot plate for boiled egg or soup and a microwave. Outside is a possibility for baking and roasting in nice weather. We are ready to make your stay unforgettable. See you soon! Boswachterij Westerschouwen, Zeeland's largest forest, enchants with its hilly dune landscape, sand drifts, valleys and dune meadows. This beautiful nature reserve is home to a rich variety of trees, plants and animals. In the tall, old pines, birds of prey such as buzzards and hawks nest, while butterflies, rabbits, pheasants and countless other birds grace the area. In the dunes you can spot roe deer, fallow deer and even wild Shetland ponies. Together with the Meeuwenduinen, Verklikkersduinen and Vroongronden, the Boswachterij forms the Kop van Schouwen, a protected natural monument. A must-visit for nature lovers!
