The Tiny house is located at the back of the owners' yard in an enclosed garden with lots of privacy and lovely places to sit and laze. In the accommodation there is a living/dining room with kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed and a small private bathroom with shower (toiletries and hair dryer) and toilet. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator with freezer and oven. Also provided are a coffee maker (filter coffee), a kettle, cooking utensils and crockery. Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and tea/ dish towels are included in the price. A breakfast is possible for a fee. An outdoor stove, barbecue, WIFI and free private parking are also available. In the colder periods electric heating provides a pleasant temperature.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house overlooks the green garden with lovely seats in sun and shade. The accommodation is located near several nature reserves (De Deelen, De Alde Feanen, De Kiekenberg, Het Fochteloërveen, Het Nannewied) The wooded area of Oranjewoud and Beetsterzwaag are also very close. Here you can enjoy walking and cycling. In the cottage there are several hiking and cycling maps and mapped routes waiting for you. Also ask your host for information about what to do. Within 30 minutes by car you are in Leeuwarden, Drachten, Groningen and Sneek. Heerenveen and Gorredijk are nearby at 7 and 4 km. from the cottage, respectively. Waking up to the sound of the cuckoo, geese flying over and foraging, fast raptors and the many songbirds in the garden complete the picture. A look across the meadows as darkness falls shows the many deer and fallow deer that live in this area.
