Welcome to the wilderness! Our house from 1860 and the outbuilding with sauna house are situated on a large natural plot on the edge of Färnebofjärden National Park. A dream for families and nature lovers looking for an exclusive, secluded location. As there is no one else on the farm, the whole area can be used undisturbed. On the ground floor there is the kitchen with a large dining area, a small room and the cosy living room with an open fireplace. The sitting area in the living room can be folded out as a sofa bed. A special feature in the kitchen is the traditional wood-fired stove. We use this to generate heat and hot water. There is also a conventional electric stove with oven. On the bright upper floor there is a bathroom with shower and the large sleeping area. There are two large double beds here. The cozy reading corner can also be used as a bed.
Nature and surroundings
The house is surrounded by an extensive and hilly wooded area. Facing south, there is a wide view of nature in the middle of the Nedre Dalälven UNESCO biosphere reserve. The house is located away from a small village, which is classified as a cultural monument, a real retreat that has been beautifully renovated. Next to the main house is our guest cottage. Here there is another sleeping possibility with a double bed. The property is south-facing and slightly elevated.
