This detached vacation home in Toggenburg is located on the edge of the forest in the middle of mountain bike and hiking trails. The house is on the Way of St. James and the cross-country ski trail and the Hemberg ski lift can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The Churfirsten restaurant with its breathtaking views is a 5-minute walk away. There is also the possibility to take riding lessons. During your stay you can buy eggs from happy chickens fresh from the farm. The living room has a Swedish stove, the firewood is included in the basic package. It has a large TV, which you can use to log into Netflix etc. The house is heated by an oil heater, but the entire house can also be heated by the Swedish stove. The house has three rooms spread over three floors. Outside there is a fireplace (Fireball), which may be used. This is located below the house for safety reasons.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located on the edge of the forest in a hiking area, directly on the Way of St. James. There are various hiking possibilities directly from the house. The Churfirsten restaurant with a fantastic view is a 15-minute walk from the house. In winter it is important to fit at least winter tires, a 4x4 would be ideal. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk away. Horse riding lessons can be booked 15 minutes' walk away. The small ski lift and the cross-country ski trail in Hemberg are a 10-minute drive away. Larger ski areas such as Wildhaus can be reached in 30 minutes.
