This nature house is located in the quiet hamlet Peyras in the municipality of Chirac (Charente) It is a charming vacation home that is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The Gite is part of a complex which consists of 3 different Gite's and offers you the authentic French country life with modern conveniences. The gite is child and animal friendly with its own enclosed garden. The layout of the gite is: on the ground floor a living room with flat screen TV and wood stove, single bedroom, large kitchen with dishwasher and microwave etc. bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms with in the 1st bedroom 1 x double box spring and in the 2nd bedroom there are 2 separate box spring beds 90 x 200. There is also a toilet with washbasin on the 1st floor. The large garden with heated pool is fully fenced so safe for children, here is enough space to relax.
Nature and surroundings
The Gite is located in a rural area between Limoges and Angoulême on the border of the Charente and the Limousin. the immediate area offers plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling through the rolling countryside along rivers and through forests. Just 6 minutes drive Exideuil sur vienne is the river "Vienne" where you can fish and canoe.A lake with sandy beach is 15 min by car ( Plage de,16150 Pressignac) ideal for a day of relaxation on the water.For families there are several attractions such as the Adventure Park in Massignac and the zoo La Vallee des Singes. Chabanais is a 15 minute drive away, here you will find a large supermarket etc. Saint Junien is about 20 minutes drive away. Confolens is known for its medieval charm and the annual music festival. Oradour-sur-Glane must be seen very impressive. Rochechouart Castle often has art exhibitions, the village is cozy and beautiful walk.
