A charming, idyllic vacation home that’s over 200 years old is situated on a dead-end street in a small hamlet. Surrounded by nature, it offers peace and quiet. In the cozy kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook up a feast. The long table offers plenty of room for everyone to sit, play games, or enjoy a glass of wine. On the ground floor is the cozy 29-square-meter living room, featuring many authentic elements. There is a third bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed. Bathroom 1, featuring a shower, sink, and toilet, is on the ground floor. On the first floor is the second bathroom with a double sink and bathtub. There is a separate toilet on this floor. The 21-square-meter master bedroom has a beautiful beamed ceiling, as does the bedroom with three separate beds. This nature house has an enclosed courtyard and sweeping views. The owner’s vacation home is nearby. Both houses have their own garden and terrace. Privacy is guaranteed.
Nature and surroundings
In this charming nature house surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the peace and quiet—and, on clear nights, a beautiful starry sky. The fenced-in garden (cour) offers complete privacy. From the cottage, you can go for lovely walks and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. This unique vacation home is located in the most picturesque part of the Dordogne, 5 km from Saint Cyprien—where you can do all your grocery shopping—and 15 km from the historic town of Sarlat. Just a 10-minute drive away, you can take a dip in the Dordogne River, go canoeing, visit caves and castles, play golf, go cycling, and more. From the house, you’ll have a beautiful view of the meadow, and if you’re lucky, you might spot deer in the evening. Of course, you can also enjoy delicious local cuisine, taste wine, visit markets, and, above all, enjoy nature.
