A charming Périgord house within a farmhouse. Completely renovated with respect for the environment, our charming stone house offers you a magnificent view of nature. An eco friendly house. Passed down from generation to generation, this farm is the gift from my family that I wish to share with you. The surrounding environment, with its forests, meadows, and streams, is rich in diverse flora and fauna that I wish to preserve. The gîte is surrounded by forests and meadows that are freely accessible for your group. Together with my husband, we spent three years restoring this family house using ecological materials — local, recycled, or restored — always with respect for the environment.I am the 17th generation to live in this house, and we chose to transform it into an eco-friendly place of sharing and exchange. This family legacy is a treasure I cherish, and I’m committed to preserving it — both environmentally and culturally. I’m passionate about hosting workshops and retreats.

Nature and surroundings

The lodge is located in the heart of prehistory in the Valley of Man, just a stone's throw from the Lascaux cave and a few minutes from the capital of prehistory: Les Eyzies de Tayac. This family home, located on a former farm, is near the village of Saint Geniès (24590), right in the heart of the Périgord Noir. Nestled between the world capital of Prehistory, Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, and the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda, we are ideally situated for cultural and nature-based activities.
