THE place for nature lovers and peace seekers! On the way to the cottage, you drive the last kilometers through the forest and taste the peace and beauty of nature. Arriving at the cottage you see the wooded area and experience the silence. The attractively furnished cottage is located in the Morvan Natural Park, in a very small hamlet. Here you hear the birds singing, you see the flowers blooming, you smell nature, feel the tranquility. In this place you can enjoy and relax. You are in the middle of the forest.The authentic character of the house has been preserved, because that is what makes the house so typically French. The facilities are safe and comfortable, and also as environmentally conscious as possible. The toilet is a dry toilet; this gives great water savings and is sustainable. The gite has no wifi; reception inside and outside is moderate to reasonable. The gite is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Nature and surroundings
In the vicinity is great hiking because from the cottage you walk straight into the forest. You can walk for hours and often you will meet no one. Along the way you will see beautiful views, very old trees, wild flowers, flowing rivers and you will find beautiful places for a picnic. There are also beautiful walks in the wider area. Through vast forests, over hills or mountains, along lakes and babbling rivers In the Morvan you will find six lakes. The two largest are Lac de Pannecière and Lac de Settons and both are a half hour drive from the cottage. Highly recommended for a day of swimming, hiking or lazing around. Besides the beautiful nature, it is definitely recommended to also taste the culture of the Morvan. Recommendations are the historic city of Autun, the Gallic city of Bibracte, the medieval city of Vezelay or visit the Chateau de Bazoches.
