We welcome you to our characteristic polder house, which was built around 1920 and is situated in the middle of the Zeeland Flanders polder landscape. The entire house was renovated in 2024 - ready April 2025 with preservation of the authentic elements and of course equipped with modern living comfort This beautifully situated nature house is completely detached with unobstructed views around, at the rear you have a view of the passing ships on the Westerschelde. The plot is approximately 1000m2 and offers plenty of space and privacy. On the ground floor are the spacious living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, 2nd toilet, and a bedroom with bunk beds (up to 12 years). On the upper floor there is a large double room and 2 single rooms. Also a large storage room for bicycles and a small garage. If you want to use our nature house but not for tourist use, please inform us before approving your booking.
Nature and surroundings
The garden offers plenty of space for a relaxing vacation. Explore the area by bicycle then you can make convenient use of the various signposted bicycle routes that run along your stay. Walking can be done on the winding roads through the polder landscape that start at your front door or walk along the banks of the Westerschelde or take a rugged walk through the nature reserve "The Drowned Land of Saeftinghe" On a sunny day, a visit to the beach of Perkpolder or Walsoorden certainly a must. In short, plenty of space and tranquility, but if you prefer a little more action, take a day trip to cities like Middelburg, Hulst, Ghent, Bruges or Antwerp.
