Vacation home for people with intensive care needs in Tholen Zeeland. 't Huysje van Klippel is fully wheelchair friendly and specially adapted for the disabled. 't Huysje van Klippel is located on Tholen a stone's throw from national park the Oosterschelde. Lovely on the water and with beautiful polders. The flower cultivation on our island provides beautiful pictures along the way. There are several wheelchair-accessible restaurants and a farm store with adapted playground and a small petting zoo nearby. Tholen offers the chance to enjoy a wonderful stay on the coast, without the tourist crowds of further afield in Zeeland. Tranquility and space characterize the surrounded. kimberley August 2, 2025 General rating:We really enjoyed our stay in Tholen in Caroline and Kees's nature house. It is a fantastically well cared for and neat house with all amenities. We were with 3 small children and it was certainly a great party for them too. Caroline and Kees think with you in how to make the stay as nice as possible. We had mistaken how many cribs we needed and they brought them to us in the evening with a nice chat. In the yard next door they have horses and goats but also a nice playground. We were welcome to take a look everywhere and have a chat. Caroline even came by with her shetland pony to let our daughters ride it. We were also allowed to pick plums from one of the fruit trees. We actually barely left the property during our weekend away because we had such a great time. Highly recommend both accommodation and owners. Super stay!
Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in Tholen in het natuurhuisje van Caroline en Kees. Het is een fantastisch verzorgd en netjes huis van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 3 kleine kinderen en het was zeker ook voor hen een groot feest. Caroline en Kees denken met je mee in hoe ze het verblijf zo fijn mogelijk kunnen maken. We hadden ons vergist in hoeveel ledikantjes we nodig hadden en die werd in de avond nog gebracht met een gezellig praatje erbij. Op het erf ernaast hebben ze paarden en geitjes maar ook een leuk speeltuintje gemaakt. We waren welkom om overal een kijkje te nemen en even een praatje te maken. Caroline kwam zelfs met haar shetland pony even bij ons langs om onze dochters er een rondje op te laten rijden. Ook mochten we pruimen plukken uit een van de fruit bomen. We zijn in ons weekend weg eigenlijk amper van het terrein geweest omdat we het zo naar ons zin hadden. Een enorme aanrader van zowel accommodatie als eigenaren. Super verblijf!
