The cottage is a farmhouse that dates back to the 18th century. It is a long building with several stables attached to the house. You rent the whole house, we ourselves are not in / near the house. A high hedge ensures privacy. The view from the yard is magnificent. Overwhelming and easily seen from all rooms in the house. A sense of space and tranquility will dominate your entire stay. There is little traffic. The yard is fenced so children and dogs cannot leave the property. Pets are welcome. The farmhouse has a large living kitchen with a spacious table and a lovely table bench. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. In the living room there is a lovely couch by the wood stove for nice warmth. In the living room there is a pick-up for extra fun and a professional soccer table for some competition. There are board games and puzzles to fill the evenings and afternoons. The house has high-speed Internet via fiber optic cable.
Nature and surroundings
The television has Canal Digital and receives all Dutch channels. On the second floor are two bedrooms, a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is a second toilet downstairs. In the yard you will find comfortable garden furniture to enhance the enjoyment of the view. In an open stable you can play ping-pong. The children have also been thought of. There is a tree house on the property that will appeal to every child's imagination. The swings will do the rest. In the yard you will find a spring that served as a water supply for the hamlet for centuries (until 1970). It is a shallow stone basin through which water flows. It is fenced off in connection with small children.Four kilometers away is the village of Saint-Leger-sous-Beuvray. There you will find a delicious bakery and a small supermarket for daily groceries. On Wednesdays and Saturdays you can also go to the organic goat farm in Le Rebout for cheese, honey and vegetables.
