This unique, 100% off-grid Tiny house is housed in a wooden yurt but also features a convenient extension with a double bed. The cottage is stylishly and colorfully decorated, complete with a nice desk, and is situated on a beautiful piece of land among olive and cork trees where you can truly unwind. There’s a trailer with a private garden where the owner lives with two sweet dogs (the trailer is also available for rent). The beautiful outdoor bathroom, nestled in the greenery, is shared. You can enjoy a romantic dinner under the olive tree, pick vegetables from the organic garden, and go on (hiking or surfing) adventures in the area. Good to know: electricity is entirely solar-powered (you can’t use hair dryers or a kettle), water is delivered (which is why we use it sparingly), there’s a composting toilet, and 5G coverage. The faucet in the cottage only has cold water. It’s a charming little forest cottage, so you might occasionally find some dust (which blows in every day) or spot a small insect crawling around.
Nature and surroundings
Jardim do Jambu is a small wooded area nestled right between the farms and at the foot of a hilly region, yet just 10 minutes from the sea. You can take beautiful walks on the property (there’s a hiking trail that runs right through it!) or follow the famous Fisherman Trail along the coast. Within a 6-minute drive, you’ll reach one of the supermarkets or restaurants in the well-known village of Aljezur. It’s a 12-minute drive to Odeceixe. Prefer the beach? You can choose from one of the dozens of popular (surf) beaches in the area. Here on the property, we live in harmony with nature and are mindful of our water and electricity usage (there’s a regular fridge, kitchen, and everything you need!). And the bathroom? The shower is in a separate shower house a few meters from the cottage, nestled in the greenery and surrounded by plants. How romantic is that? In other words: it’s an ideal nature retreat for anyone who wants to get away from it all without being too far off the beaten path.

Staying at Rosa's nature house was everything and more. Not only are the surroundings quiet and picturesque, while still being close enough to two towns to enjoy buzzy nightlife and amazing restaurants, but the house itself is truly beautiful and unique, and a real haven. It was everything we expected and asked for, and was an experience neither my partner nor I will forget. The space is well thought out - though, be prepared for mosquitoes at night unless you're within the safety of the net over the bed - and offers just the right amount of privacy while also providing an opportunity to speak to the wonderful hostess, Rosa, occasionally. If we get the chance, we'd be coming straight back to this little slice of heaven very soon.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
