From the living room you look out over the reed beds of the Rottige Meenthe nature reserve. The 4-person variant has two bedrooms with 2 single box spring beds. The large greenhouse has a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, kitchenette and indoor-outdoor seating.
Nature and surroundings
This boutique park is located in a peaceful place in Friesland. Surrounded by nature reserves the Rottige Meente and the Weerribben. You can go canoeing or hiking/biking through the woods here very nicely. Giethoorn is also worth a visit. With its many canals, bridges and lakes, it is also called the Venice of the North. If you want to discover history, go to one of the old Zuiderzee villages nearby such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk. Lemmer, by the way, is a popular water sports town. From here, many boats travel into the Frisian Lakes region.
