We have in the nature house a spacious, open house for 4 to 5 people with large windows. An open sitting area with wood stove, a spacious kitchen equipped with all facilities and a fine dining area by the large windows. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, hot air oven, large refrigerator and freezer, induction hob, nespresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, blender, ... We also provide kitchen linens, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, kitchen paper, aluminum foil, baking paper, plastic wrap, all kinds of spices, coffee and filters, tea bags, ... The bathroom has a lovely spacious shower, toilet and a sink. There is also a hairdryer and shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper. The bedrooms are spacious, bright and equipped with beds made + a bath towel for each person. Outside there is a large terrace with seating and dining area, for the children there is in the forest a tree house with cable car.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to our nature house, in the middle of Landscape, De Liereman in Oud-Turnhout. De Liereman is one of the oldest and largest nature reserves in Flanders. The cottage itself is on a 15 acre property with forest without any view. Only the birds are watching. When you leave the nature house you can immediately start one of the many walks in the Liereman. The visitor center along the way is a nice change to enjoy local delicacies. In addition to De Liereman, the Turnhouts Vennen area is also nearby, or the woods in Kasterlee and Retie where you can also go kayaking or canoeing. If, in addition to nature, you would also like some culture, that is possible in the neighboring city of Turnhout. Here you can visit The Castle of The Dukes of Brabant, The Playing Cards Museum or the Beguinage, meanwhile also Unesco World Heritage Site. You're not going to be bored anyway.
