Welcome to our nature house! The spacious 4-person apartment with private entrance is located on the west side of the Manoir. An outside stone staircase leads to the private terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture. Guests of our Manoir have exclusive access to the park garden and the surrounding estate consisting of woods, meadows and a small lake. In our own forest we have created a hiking trail with a wildlife observation hut. In the walls of our manor alone, many species of birds nest including the kestrel and the hoopoe. In our forest we regularly see wild boar, deer, badgers, foxes, etc. We have even spotted the rare genet cat several times. At our little lake you can sit and have fun and chances are you will see the kingfisher. Our entire estate of over 10 acres is at your disposal.
Nature and surroundings
Our manor is located in the Dordogne valley in the north of the Lot department. For nature and culture lovers, there is an awful lot to see and do in a 25 km circle around Boscau. This already starts with the nearby area, where 9 villages are on the list of 100 most beautiful villages of France. The immediate surroundings are perfect for cycling or hiking. Within walking distance the imposing castle Chateau Castelau-Bretenoux and the Collégiale St Louis. Nature, peace & environment:We stayed longer - so that says it all. It is a wonderful place with lots of space, private terrace. The apartments have an authentic atmosphere - they are fully equipped. We enjoyed the hospitality of Bob and Esther. In the area you can make beautiful walks. The many villages and towns provide many distractions.
