Cozy forest cottage for 4 people - in the middle of greenery, full of sunlight Looking for a nice place to completely unwind, in the middle of nature? This charming cottage is hidden in the woods, but surprisingly light thanks to its many windows and sunny location. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation, the cottage sleeps 4 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The area is perfect for nature lovers and children can play in the spacious garden. On the secluded terrace you can quietly enjoy a good book or breakfast in the sun. A place to unwind, discover and especially enjoy. Whether you like hiking, playing outside or just want to get away from it all - here you feel right at home. Nice to know: double bed is a box bed :) In high season July and August we only rent by the week.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on small-scale bungalow park, situated next to a campsite. Our guests can use the facilities of this campsite, such as bread service, playground and the children's entertainment team. Use of the swimming pool at this campsite is not (yet) possible, for water entertainment Optisport swimming pool Dúndelle in Bakkeveen is open at about 750m distance.Do you want to go out? Then enjoy the tranquility, the beautiful wooded surroundings and vast fields. Walk straight to the De Slotplaats estate or take the bike to Duerswaldmer heath. Several bicycle and hiking trails lead through forests and the lands of the three provinces: Friesland, Drenthe and Groningen. The village of Bakkeveen has many amenities including several restaurants, a cozy cafe, mini-golf, swimming pool and supermarket. Bike rental is 2 kilometers away.
