Detached house with large fenced lush garden with lots of privacy and cozy sitting areas. Enjoy the beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding wooded hills. From the cottage you can walk or bike to the lake where you can also swim, kayak and fish. For shopping the nearest town is 13 km.This cozy house is in a tiny hamlet on the large lake 'Lac de Pannecière' in the beautiful nature reserve 'Parc du Morvan' in Burgundy.In the somewhat cooler periods you can use the cozy wood stove. There is no extra heating in the adjoining bedroom and bathroom. There is plenty of stove wood available.
Nature and surroundings
You stay in an old French house with a large (1000 m2) lush enclosed garden with fruit and nut trees. Enjoy the view of the lake and the surrounding forests on the hills. Enjoy all the flora and fauna while hiking or biking along the lake. Or discover nature from the water with a kayak, available for rent at the small-scale campsite 'Les Soulins'. On the south side of the lake. Highly recommended! Here you can also have a drink afterwards and on some evenings eat and enjoy live music. Less than 2km away, on the other side of the hill, is a beautiful bird hide overlooking the basin of Lac de Pannecière. The house is located in the nature reserve Parc du Morvan. The Morvan is known for its lovely hilly landscape with meadows (walled by beautiful hedges) and many forests for endless walking or cycling. At the lake you can read a book on the beach with your feet in the water or, for experienced swimmers, swim to the other side.
