Pets not allowed
This nature house was built largely by myself (retired carpenter). That makes it unique, but the garden (about 25 tennis courts large) is especially special. There are several French doors and terraces, one of which is covered with a fireplace. Downstairs, the house is spacious and bright with large windows and lots of views of the garden and pond. The decor with vintage and art also makes it cozy. There are plenty of games and books, and the kitchen has everything you need. My coffee/tea/herbal cupboard is fully available. One storage loft is locked due to my private belongings when I travel. Upstairs are three simple bedrooms, accessible by a rather steep staircase (very large suitcases are not useful here). In the garden there is a swing and a small slide. One neighbor also uses the driveway. She will respect your privacy. I kindly ask you to respect hers as well. A different arrival or departure day is negotiable.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located on the outskirts of the village of Epe. From the large living room you have a view of the garden and the pond. Two century-old lime trees provide cooling shade. There is plenty to experience: Many birds (sometimes a kingfisher), fish, frogs, toads, salamanders, squirrels, bats and badgers. In the back of the garden mini sheep graze. Children are allowed to feed the sheep and fish. (Well, ahead, adults too) . Depending on the season, there may be strawberries, raspberries, broad beans, lettuce and various herbs to harvest. It's a nice walk to the sheepfold on Eperheide, a little over 1 hour. Pancake house the Ox stable 1 hour through the woods. By bike you can easily get to the estates Tongeren, Gortel, the Heerderstrand, the Donkey Farm or the Trout Farm. The village center with many cozy terraces and restaurants is less than 10 minutes walk.

Very nice quiet area for walking and cycling, with many restaurants and sights nearby. Beautiful cottage with large garden to relax in. Contact with the host I experienced as very pleasant.
We had a very nice week here. The cottage is pleasant to stay in. The living room is nice and spacious. A bookcase with many books, Dutch and English literature. In terms of home supplies, almost everything is there. We only missed a small freezer compartment in the refrigerator. The staircase is a bit awkward: it is steep and has no handrail. The beautiful garden, with a beautiful pond and three sheep, is really big with lots of places to sit. When we were there we could enjoy the enormous peace. Nice that there are two bikes that you can use. Walking or cycling you are within a few minutes in the woods. There is much to see in the area. By car you can get to the Loo Palace or the museum town of Elburg. By bike you are in no time at the moors that were now in bloom.
Qua huisvoorraad is vrijwel alles aanwezig.
This text is automatically translated.
