Our cottage is on the edge of the forest, overlooking an open field. How nice to spot wildlife early in the morning from the veranda.The wooden house, a double chalet, has just been renovated so that it is spacious, modern and open but then the bedsteads make it nice and cosy. Yet even the bedsteads are spacious and comfortable with both a 1.60x 2x 2.20 m bed and a window for visibility, light and air. It is equipped for 4 to a maximum of 6 people. The owners use the house as a studio. The materials for painting, drawing, modeling and printing etc may also be used by the tenants.

Nature, peace & environment:We had a great time. The cottage is cozy and spacious enough for max 6 people. The communication with the owners of the house is pleasant! We went mainly to escape fireworks with the dog but for that you can better go somewhere else. It's supposedly a fireworks free park but there was still a fireworks display and a mountain of fireworks in front of the barriers. Good to know that the yard is fenced off but the front yard is not fenced off enough for a medium sized dog. The walking spots around are nice but leash duty for the dog (although not everyone abides by this).
We hebben het erg leuk gehad. Het huisje is knus en ruim genoeg voor max 6 mensen. De communicatie met de eigenaren van het huis is prettig! We zijn voornamelijk gegaan om vuurwerk te ontvluchten met de hond maar daarvoor kan je beter ergens anders heen. Het is zogenaamd een vuurwerk vrij park maar er is alsnog afgestoken en een berg vuurwerk voor de slagbomen. Goed om te weten dat de tuin is afgezet maar de voortuin is niet voldoende afgezet voor een middelgrote hond. De wandel plekken rondom zijn mooi maar wel aanlijn plicht voor de hond (alhoewel niet iedereen zich hieraan houdt).
