Our cottage is on the edge of the forest, overlooking an open field. How nice to spot wildlife early in the morning from the porch. The wooden house, a double chalet, has just been renovated so that it is spacious, modern and open but then the bedsteads make it nice and cosy. Yet even the bedsteads are spacious and comfortable with both a 1.60x 2x 2.20 m bed and a window for visibility, light and air. It is equipped for 4 to a maximum of 6 people. The owners use the house as a studio. The materials for painting, drawing, modeling and printing etc may also be used by the tenants.
Nature and surroundings
The Fig Tree is located on the edge of a forest. There are numerous possibilities for walks from home, through the woods or fields. For example to Forest restaurant Joppe or the cafe restaurant De Zessprong with mini golf course or to the open air swimming pool De Boskoele. Also the cozy village of Gorssel with museum More is within walking distance.
