Nature and surroundings
Centrally located on the edge of the Montferland forests and the German hills with the border towns of Elten (4km) and Emmerich (15km) within cycling distance. Castle town 's-Heerenberg with city museum (7km) and entertainment center Doetinchem (10km), Tuesday big market, are worth visiting. Even Burgers Zoo and the open-air museum in Arnhem (25km) are easy to reach by bike. Or make your own bike route with the cycling junction planner.There is also much to experience for hikers. In the Montferland Walking Guide are several routes and tips for the most beautiful walk, step by step enjoy.And then there is the MTB route (26km) through the Montferland forests, 'n topper in the MTB circuit.
