Across from the farm, on the other side of the central lawn is this nature house. It is on the corner and has more privacy due to its location on the property. This spacious, bright cottage has 2 bedrooms and two extra beds in the loft and can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children and has its own covered terrace. We cover the double bed as standard, if you want to cover one of the single beds you can book extra. The kitchen has been moved and is now also equipped with a dishwasher. The renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower and bathtub.
Nature and surroundings
Right at the bottom of the dune and in the middle of the greenery you will find this nature house. From our front door start several hiking and biking trails that bring you in 15 minutes cycling to Vlissingen or Zoutelande. The historic city of Middelburg is also within 30 minutes by bike. And the beach? In 10 minutes you are across the dune and stand with your feet in the sand.

We felt that this cottage did not meet the expectations we have for a nature house. There is far too little privacy, as the outdoor area is for general use. In addition, the kitchen is sparsely equipped, with few cooking utensils and only one dish towel and one hand towel. Basic amenities such as soap for the kitchen and the toilet were also missing. Although the cottage sleeps six people, in our opinion, the kitchen, living area, and outdoor space are not well suited for that number. The bathroom, however, was clean and met our expectations. All in all, we find this cottage best suited as a simple place to stay overnight rather than for a comfortable vacation.
