We are very pleased that you have found us. We, Jean, Jacqueline and our golden retriever Cooper, have settled in this beautiful region of France: Burgundy. If you are a lover of tranquility, nature, good wine and of course French cuisine, you have come to the right place. With great pleasure we have created a gîte for you in our charming old country house, with an additional roof terrace from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the hills of the "Morvan". Nature and surroundings
Our natural region is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet as well as for the more active. There is plenty to do, including: Hiking - mountain bike trails, horseback riding through the Morvan, golf courses, fishing spots, canoeing, and much more.Be sure to visit the historic town of AUTUN, known for its Roman heritage. Every Friday there is a lively market with delicious local products.BIBRACTE - houses a museum and excavations from Roman times.BEAUNE - the second largest city in the department, after Dijon. It is considered the wine capital of Burgundy and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Hôtel-Dieu, dating from the 15th century, served as a hospital until 1971 and is definitely worth a visit. In short, there is plenty to see and do here! For wine lovers, Burgundy is the place to be. A drive through the impressive and vast vineyards will take you to numerous wine tastings, such as at Château de Dracy-les-Couches, Rully and Meursault
