Nature house in Oudega

The cottage is comfortable, complete and exudes a pleasant atmosphere. Upon arrival, the coffee maker for delicious coffee was already on and Sandra - in January - had already turned on the heating. Towels, kitchen linen, bed linen: everything was there. While it was freezing outside, inside it was always cozy and warm. I also slept wonderfully here. All in all, my week here was super nice and it felt like a home, where you can relax.

Het huisje is comfortabel, compleet en straalt een prettige sfeer uit. Bij aankomst stond het koffieapparaat voor heerlijke koffie al aan en had Sandra – in januari – de verwarming alvast aangezet. Handdoeken, keukenlinnen, bedlinnen: alles was aanwezig. Terwijl het buiten vroor, was het binnen steeds behaaglijk en warm. Ik heb hier ook heerlijk geslapen. Al met al was mijn week hier superfijn en voelde het als een thuis, waar je heerlijk tot rust komt.

With six windows overlooking water, meadows and endless sky, this is a place to enjoy every season. The view is completely free - no people, just peace and quiet. Now, in January, the birdlife may be a bit modest, but even then e.g. the egret, titmice and a buzzard show themselves. In other seasons nature is probably even more exuberant here. Especially now it is extra nice that the area is quiet and free of tourists. The cottage overlooks part of National Park De Alde Feanen, an area that is perfect for beautiful walks through a unique landscape.

Met zes ramen die uitkijken over water, weiland en een eindeloze lucht is dit een plek om elk seizoen van te genieten. Het uitzicht is volledig vrij – geen mensen, alleen rust en ruimte. Nu, in januari, is het vogelbestand misschien wat bescheiden, maar zelfs dan laten zich bv de zilverreiger, meesjes en een buizerd zien. In andere seizoenen komt de natuur hier waarschijnlijk nog uitbundiger tot leven. Juist nu is het extra fijn dat de omgeving heerlijk rustig en vrij van toeristen is. Het huisje kijkt uit op een deel van Nationaal Park De Alde Feanen, een gebied dat zich uitstekend leent voor mooie wandelingen door een uniek landschap.

We were greeted by Sandra, a super friendly a nice woman. Sandra's cottage is super complete. I have never booked a cottage where there is so much in the kitchen. Because the outside wall is convex and the kitchen / living room is very long, you have from every window another beautiful view of the Alde Feanen. The sunrises were super nice to watch. We had a wonderful midweek around New Year's Eve, but certainly hope to come again with nice, warm, sunny weather.

We werden obtvangen door Sandra, een super vriendelijke een aardige vrouw.

Het huisje van Sandra is super compleet. Ik heb nog nooit een vakantiehuisje geboekt waar in de keuken zoveel aanwezig is. Echt heel fijn.

Doordat de buitenmuur bol loopt en de keuken/woonkamer heel lang is, heb je uit ieder raam weer een ander prachtig uitzicht op de Alde Feanen. De zonsopgangen waren super mooi om naar te kijken.

Wij hebben een heerlijke midweek gehad rond Oud&Nieuw, maar hopen zeker ook met mooi, warm, zonnig weer nogmaals te komen.

Sandra's cottage stands beautifully at the back of the plot with a great view over the Alde Feanen. It is wonderfully quiet and a real pleasure to watch nature.

Het huisje van Sandra staat prachtig achterop het perceel met een geweldig uitzicht over de Alde Feanen. Het is er heerlijk rustig en een waar genot om naar de natuur te kijken.
