Enjoy an unforgettable stay with personal service and beautiful nature. ÖsteboLjus is very suitable for overnight stays or vacations in Sweden. In the historic barn on the Ostebo peninsula we have developed a cozy and comfortable guesthouse. We have combined the old elements with simplicity, luxury and convenience. The guesthouse has a living bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. In addition, it has its own parking and terrace on the porch, with lots of privacy. Optional Wellness with a sauna and hot tub ( wood-fired) can be reserved. Reservation minimum 1 day use. Come and enjoy your vacation, but of course you can also use ÖsteboLjus as a base if you are looking for a home in beautiful Dalsland. With kind regards Finn and Trea
Nature and surroundings
The guesthouse is located on a peninsula Östebo near Håverud and the Dalsland Canal. The area is hilly and has many different trees, flower species. From the location you can follow several hiking trails such as the Pilgrimage Trail. The Upperuds Sluss and Cafe Boneparte with the Dalsland Art Museum are within walking distance. Håverud with its famous aqueduct, locks and Dalsland Center. Plan a visit to the longest zip line center, Lake Vänern, the largest in Europe with many attractions. The Moose ranch in Ed where you can feed the Elks. Gothenburg is a cozy city with many opportunities for a nice day and easily and fun to reach by Swedish train from Mellerud. Of course you can enjoy one of the lakes on a beach between the Swedish people or just relax on a spot which you choose yourself. Dalsland was created after the Ice Age so there are many height differences and beautiful natural areas.
