Le Montet is an ancient Maison Forte surrounded by a 50-hectare estate in the Dordogne. About half of our estate consists of a wild forest, so you can enjoy private access to nature without being disturbed. The estate is home to deer, wild boar, birds of prey and many other types of wildlife. There are two lakes. The whole estate is very secluded and quiet. We have 4ha with BIO walnut trees. The nuts are processed in the large barn, part of which has been converted into a modern gite. The main bedroom has a double bed of 2m br, the small bedroom a bed of 1.60m br, either two single beds or 1 with crib. There is no TV and no AC, but the walls are 80cm thick and the gite stays cool. From May, depending on the weather, the large 5x12m pool is available for private use except from 5-7pm. Because of the lakes, children who cannot swim should always remain under parental supervision. Rev. bel. 5% varies see below.
Nature and surroundings
The surrounding countryside is exceptionally beautiful and unspoiled, with beautiful views. The old towns of Thiviers and Excideul are about 12 km away.
