Attractive, detached and comfortable house on small park, on the water with swimming jetty, children's beach and jollies jetty at the cottage (10 meters walk). This cottage is particularly suitable for families with (young) children, but also fine for a group of 5 adults. The garden/terrain surrounding the house (700m2) is great for relaxing/playing.Outside is a lounge sofa, fireplace. bbq and large dining table available.Beautiful, bright living room overlooking the water and open kitchen. Downstairs is a double bedroom with private shower and sink and separate toilet. Upstairs a spacious bedroom with three single beds and separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Beds are made on arrival.The house has modern facilities (built in 2022). Washer/dryer is available.Two parking spaces available at the house.
Nature and surroundings
Elahuizen is a small village eight kilometers from Balk. Balk has all facilities, including several supermarkets, restaurants and nice stores. Elahuizen is all about water sports and nature. The cozy Eetcafe de Fluessen is within walking distance and has an attractive waterside terrace with delicious dishes. Elahuizen is very centrally located and from here you are in 10-20 minutes at, for example, the IJsselmeer, in Sloten, Joure or Sneek. A 10-minute drive away is the beautiful forest in Rijs. Elahuizen is surrounded by the beautiful Frisian meadows.
