Nature house in Sumar

What a spacious cottage! Simply top-notch. It’s really impressive how the owners built this themselves. The cottage is beautifully finished. Nice kitchen. Beautiful decor. The chairs and sofa are comfortable, and the bed is incredibly cozy. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it’s that I would have liked to see a small sink in the bathroom. But I definitely recommend it 100%. When you step outside, you walk straight into one of the children’s mini-museums. The garden at your disposal is wonderfully spacious. We didn’t use the wellness area, but it looked fantastic as well.

Wat een ruimte in het huisje. Klasse gewoon. Super mooi hoe/dat de eigenaars dit zelf gemaakt hebben. Huisje is prachtig afgewerkt. Fijne keuken. Mooie inrichting. Stoelen en bank zitten lekker, bed ligt heerlijk. Als ik al een minpuntje moet noemen is het dat ik het fijn had gevonden als er een fonteintje had gezeten op het toilet. Maar het is zeker een 100% aanrader. Als je de deur uitloopt loop je rechtstreeks in het mini museum van 1 van de kinderen. De tuin die tot je beschikking staat is heerlijk groot. Wellnes hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt. Maar zag er eveneens fantastisch uit.

Friesland is beautiful anyway. We cycled many kilometers and enjoyed the scenery.

Friesland is sowieso mooi. Heel veel km's gefietst en genoten van het landschap.

We had a very nice time in the cottage and can highly recommend it! The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and is beautifully and warmly decorated just as shown in the pictures. At the entrance you are greeted by a beautiful little museum themed "the old-fashioned farm," which fits nicely with the national monument building in which the lodging is located. In addition, a very sweet cat, a goat and a handful of chickens roam the grounds, making things even cozier. The owner was very sweet, hospitable, helpful, and was fine in communication and easily accessible.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in het huisje en kunnen het ten zeerste aanbevelen! Het huisje was volledig uitgerust met alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben, en is mooi en warm ingericht net zoals op de foto's te zien is. Bij de ingang wordt je begroet door een prachtig klein museum met het thema 'de ouderwetse boerderij', wat mooi past bij het rijksmonument gebouw waarin het verblijf zich bevindt. Daarnaast loopt er op het terrein een hele lieve kat, een geit en een handjevol kippen rond, die de boel nog gezelliger maken. De eigenares was erg lief, gastvrij, behulpzaam, en was fijn in communicatie en goed bereikbaar.

The cottage is in a nice and quiet location. The area was nice and quiet and green, and full of natural life (birds, butterflies, deer, etc.). There are plenty of natural areas and lakes to visit nearby.

Het huisje ligt op een fijne en rustige locatie. De omgeving was lekker rustig en groen, en vol met natuurleven (vogels, vlinders, herten, etc.). Er zijn genoeg natuur gebieden en meren in de buurt die je kan bezoeken.
